Fred Flashbacks #4

Welcome back to Fred Flashbacks! Let’s take a look and see what was happening this week in Fredonia, 30 years ago:

According to this crooked photo page, Fredonia received an unexpected visit from some warm weather. Sounds familiar.

McGinnies Hall was announced to be closed for renovations the following semester. Apparently Grissom was already closed for the same reason.

This is an informative article on how be an effective communicator. I’d say the same wisdom still holds true today.

In previous years, WNYF organized the annual Superdance, a 30 hour dance marathon which raised money to fight muscular dystrophy.

An alum posted a video of the 1986 Superdance on Facebook.

A “dance marathon” sounds like it would be incredibly tiring, but it also sounds like a lot of fun! WNYF should consider bringing this back.

Here’s a relevant comic strip with an irrelevant introduction. (click to enlarge images)
